1. KöR MAX WHITENING SYSTEM
The Dual-Activated, Tri-BarrelTM Hydremide® Peroxide Technology
Many of the ideal properties of whitening gels have previously been mutually exclusive – the more of one property you want, the more of another property you must give up. As a result, traditionally whitening gel properties have been viewed as a series of compromises. KöR Whitening unveiled its Tri-Barrel Hydremide Peroxide formulation and whitening gel delivery system to eliminate the typical series of compromises. The ability to keep the chemistry separated into three isolated chambers, permits the addition of more ingredients; creating a more sophisticated, exceptionally effective formulation.
KöR Whitening is an effective & definitive whitening solution because KöR rejuvenates the youthful ability of your teeth to absorb oxygen. Oxygen from KöR Whitening gel is absorbed deeply into the tooth, allowing pigments and stain molecules to be fully flooded by bleaching factors, thus thoroughly breaking down large stain molecules to ultra-small colorless and white particles. The result is a radiantly white, natural appearing smile that you will LOVE!
With the KöR Whitening System, nearly all teeth will have stunning results. KöR even whitens tetracycline-stained teeth significantly, which was previously thought to be impossible! With this system, we are able to customize your whitening treatment based on your individual needs.

What to Expect During Treatment
In-office whitening visit utilizing KöR 34% Dual-Activated, Tri-Barrel Hydremide Peroxide gel with retractors and paint-on gingival barrier. Here’s what you can expect from your whitening procedure:
- After a quick polish, we start with the isolation of teeth and gums using lip/tongue retractors to keep the treatment area clear and the gingival barrier to help protect the gums and isolate your teeth.
- We then Apply Whitening Gel for 3 intervals of 20 minute sessions.
- Post-treatment, we’ll clean up the whitening products and remove any retractors.
Before you go, Dr. Kumar or another team member will review the Post-Whitening Guidelines with you; helping you to enjoy your results for as long as possible. Visit our forms page to download and fill out a whitening CONSENT FORM.
What is the difference between our treatments and OTC products?
Stains on teeth can be classified in one of two ways: extrinsic or intrinsic. Extrinsic stains appear on the surface of your teeth. Intrinsic stains live between the microcracks in your enamel and deep within your dentin (the layer of your tooth underneath your enamel). Whitening toothpastes and mouth rinses may be able to remove some of the extrinsic stains on your teeth. But only teeth whitening agents can remove the stubborn extrinsic stains and the unsightly intrinsic stains that cause your teeth to look discolored. See the video below for a beautiful before & after using professional products.

2. CUSTOM TAKE-HOME WHITENING TRAYS
Opalescence take-home whitening gel is delivered via custom-made trays, further tailoring the treatment to your smile. Opalescence take-home whitening gel allows you to get professional whitening results at your convenience in a safe, effective, and customized way! This tooth whitening gel contains PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride), helping decrease sensitivity and is formulated to prevent dehydration and shade relapse.
A custom mouthpiece or “tray” is made by the dental office to fit your teeth. This tray fits over the patient’s teeth and holds the bleaching material against the teeth for a specified period of time. We advise the trays be worn 30 minutes per day for an average of 7 to 10 days but may differ for each patient. If the teeth become more sensitive to hot and cold, a “desensitizing” material may be used in the same tray on alternating days. Results are usually excellent with this method and the trays can be used to remove to remove future staining.
