Zoila and Dr. Kumar have grown together over the years- they met in 2008 at a job neither of them were suited for. Twelve years later, now working amongst some of the best at the New York Smile Institute, Zoila continues to seek opportunities to improve her clinical skills and expand her knowledge base. Ms, Perez studied at Hostos Community College and continued her academics at NYU where obtained her Bachelors of Science in Hygiene. She now shares her experience & clinical skills with the hygiene students at NYU College of Dentistry, where she holds the position of Adjunct Clinical Instructor. She consistently dedicates her time and has helped mold the minds of the next generation. As a hygienist with a background in teaching,  prevention is a cornerstone of her treatment approach and overall philosophy. She shares this sentiment with Dr. Kumar.
